Savannah is a city in Nazi America in the former U.S. state of Georgia, with a population of approximately 84,000.
Following the death of Hitler, there was a mass uprising of Resistance members across Nazi America, and a large number of German SS men were dispatched to America to quell it under the command of Gruppenführer Keller. Keller asked which city reported the most unrest from Resistance activity; Erich Raeder identified this city as Savannah. Keller suggested razing Savannah in order to discourage further activity, a plan which American-born Obergruppenführer John Smith was less than enthusiastic about.
Immediately before leaving for Berlin, Smith instructs Raeder to drop plans to destroy Savannah: "I won't burn one of our own cities."
